Tina Beranbaum, Ph.D.

Principal

Tina is a behavioral scientist who brings more than 25 years of experience in organizational development and executive coaching to her role as trusted advisor to senior executives and their teams. Whether she is coaching an executive, aligning a leadership team or designing a large group experience, she uniquely blends strategic insights, an understanding of organizational dynamics and a focus on tangible outcomes. Tina’s practical and personal approach draws people to tell her what they really think and enables her to devise effective solutions while delivering direct and clear messages to her clients.

Tina earned her doctorate in Organizational Sociology and went on to complete post-graduate certifications in International Organization Systems Development and Coaching. Tina’s career has taken her from serving as a professor of industrial relations at McGill University in Montreal to serving as a leader in the federal program evaluation practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Canada, and ultimately to her current role as founding Principal of Centauric, headquartered in Southern California and serving clients globally. Tina has worked with leaders in a range of businesses including Dimensional Fund Advisors, CBRE, PetCo, Deloitte and TD Bank.

Tina is passionate about giving back to the community. As leader of a women’s foundation, she oversaw the curation and funding of programs aimed at developing teenage girls’ self-esteem and leadership skills. For the Patton Foundation, Tina designed and facilitated innovative inter-generational leadership dialogues, providing an opportunity for leaders of all ages to learn from each other. Currently, she is on the Board of Advisors for the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego. Tina is also chairing the Innovation Initiative, focused on the future of philanthropy at the San Diego Jewish Community Foundation.

Along with her full professional and volunteer agenda, Tina maintains a deep spiritual practice and enjoys long walks on the beach as well as time with family and friends.
